Happy Gal Milk

Oil on canvas, 40” x 36” 1.3”

In a private collection

What if in our world it was normal to drink human milk rather than cow’s. What if it was heavily marketed that it is the human milk that “does a body good” rather than cow? Would we be consuming milk the same way we have been for decades?

This painting represents just that. Happy Girl Milk was inspired from a discussion regarding the benefits of milk and the cattle industry in general.

I found something very comical and the same time disheartening imagining a line women, very mechanically being pumped in order to mass produce milk for the consumer market we have created.
